Well it isn't actually my first guitar. But it's the first one I paid for myself.
The guitar I've wanted most, out of all the guitars in the world is a Gibson ES-335. A semi-hollow blues guitar. It's usually worth about $2,500. Uh... I don't have that kinda money.
Well, the other day I was searching around Craig's list and stumbled upon this guitar. It may not have been the ES-355 that I so badly want, but it sure caught my eye.
It's an Epiphone DOT. A guitar that is made by the Gibson company, and is an exact model of the 335. The only difference... the price. Epiphone DOTs are, brand new, are worth only $670. I got lucky and bought mine for a straight $300, with a very nice case.
So it's not my dream guitar. But I love it!! I feel like I can actually play now! Which I can't... :)
