So being friends with Mr. Taylor Hicks on Myspace allows me to have updates. But, this time I was thinking some sorta strange Prank.
This is what was posted on a bulletin by "Taylor":
Taylor will be appearing on the Season Finale of Asian Idol in Jakarta on Sunday December 16, 2007. (Asian Idol TV broadcast can be seen on the following channels: RCTI Indonesia, Sony Entertainment TV India, TV8 Malaysia, Channel 5 Singapore, GMA7 Philippines, and HTV9 Vietnam).
So Taylor is overseas! lol
I think it's cool, but weird. Anyone else confused by this?

Dec 18th at 7pm at the Glorietta
Dec 19th at Greenbelt at 8
Dec 20 at Trinoma at 7pm
There is a meet and greet after every show, they say. That should be interesting!

Does anyone besides me think this is a sad conclusion to a brilliant career? David Hasselhoff is very popular in Germany, but he sucks here. OK? Bad Ass in the Philipines? I need a Xanax.
And just as a P.S. Kenz' newsfeed for "Hicks" is showing obits of unrelated Hicks in Kentucky.

Conclusion? Never.
Taylor has been doing this his whole life. I think he'll continue to do it his whole life too. So what if he doesn't make the top of the pop charts. Hollywood can kiss my ass, lol. I like his music, you like his music, and we'll continue to scream and rant like crazy women, threatening to throw our underwear on stage.
I agree with everything you said Kenzie...except for the part about the underwear.. he would go into hiding if I tossed mine on the stage. LOL
Naw, it ain't over. He has fans here who are loyal and steadfast (I guess that would be us!). We just miss him and hanker for another tour. He put on such a good show in NYC--I would love to see him again live.
And Tif--the boy would be lucky to get a pair of your drawers. Throw them, girl!
