Do we end it so soon?

I'm creating this post in honor of someone who made everything possible.

I'm not too much of a history buff, and I don't really follow up on details, but when it comes down to one thing and one thing only... "It's all about the music."

I no longer really care what anyone thinks. If you don't like Gray, you don't like him. I'll admit he was an ass at times. But he had to be, we created absolute mayhem for him. How many people can say that they handled a fan site that was so crazed up with uncontrollable women, constant email and unlimited access? Not very many. I give him a lot of credit, and a lot of respect. The more I've spoken with Gray, the more I realize that he's not such an ass, he's actually a pretty cool dude. He's got a good sense in music too, which is more than what half of America can say. Grace Potter kicks ass. Although, I'm not a HUGE fan, I can sit down and jam to some songs and videos of hers.

The reason Taylor is where he is at, is because of the amount of heart he has in what he does. It's not just some "
thing" that he runs off and does as a hobby. Any true FAN would know this, but also a good friend knows this as well. A recent whatdoicallit? by Gray is given to us to explain what Taylor does before, during and after the show. I absolutely love the way that Gray explained everything. I can tell that Gray sees more than just some famous, gray-haired, singer. He sees a musician, just like I do. It's all about having the spirit for it. Music of my generation is a bit irritating, it has no meaning... no heart... no soul. That's why I love Taylor, he has ALL of that. And so does John Legend, Alicia Keys, Ben Harper, John Mayer and Grace Potter.

"Now where in the hell does all this fit in?" you ask? Simple. My basic point is to say that, Gray knows music, he knows fans, and he knows more than we think. Just the littlest bit of respect can go a long way. It's a shame to say that when someone stands up for something, they immediately get pushed down. But that's how society is, isn't it? I sure as hell can't change it.

So I'm just putting this out there for Gray, a remembrance for all that he put up with. Because I know that I didn't make it easy on him. For those of you who were there... remember the "Does Taylor have a hairy ass?" night? Haha, we did more than just ask a stupid little question...

Oh, the good ol' days. :)
