My schedule has recently changed from working only 30 hours a week, sleeping a lot, and partying on the weekends to working 65 hours a week, going to sleep at 2 a.m., eating Mcdonald's and Taco Bell everyday, and still partying. My life has taken a very fast plunge.
The worst of all these, has been the fast food. Yeah the sleep is my major concern, but it all revolves around my food intake. Because I never have to time to make a decent meal, I just rush through the drive-thru. You know your eating habits are going to hell when you replace one fast food drink with another in your car's cup holder. The amount of sugars and fats in the food keep me wired for a period of time, and because I don't get off work till 10 at night now, I eat late and stay up later. My mom's work load has extended to almost a full time job, working from 9 to 4 Monday through Friday. And on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I work at a local - guess what- Fast Food restaurant.
The worst part about my new job is that I work in the kitchen, making fries and flipping burgers, I get all the french fries and onion rings I want. And I hit up on that offer with a generous amount of the fatty, greasy food.
This fast pace in my diet and sleep has taken a toll on me. It's had it's major change with the addition of my new job, and I've felt it's effect. Today I woke up at 9 o'clock, barely getting any sleep throughout the night. I was at my friends house, and I came home to check my email, play guitar, and then go back to sleep from 11 to 3:30. I'm still wiped out.
I've started to change things slowly, yesterday Instead of going to my boyfriend's house, I went jogging around the neighborhood. I went a total of 15 blocks, quite a lot for me. I came home, took a shower and THEN went to my boyfriend's house, lol. Today instead of eating Taco Bell, I found a pizza in the freezer. It's actually a lean pizza... not too sure of the details. But it has garlic, onion, and grilled chicken on it. OMG AMAZING.
I'm excited about my new job, they pay well for just starting, I used to work there about a year ago. I'm going to use the extra money to save up for my own place, and eventually get another job, and leave my mom's business. It's caused a lot of stress on me, not being able to get paid when I'm supposed. And it's not that I don't trust my mom, It's just really hard to get paid from the person who organizes your bills. So, I'm working on a new plan to get around my unhealthy lifestyle, and I should be back to myself, and not so down in the dumps. Even my boss yesterday said, "Kenzie, you've changed. You're so quiet, what in the hell happened?"

Oh, Kenzie! Don't worry about the pictures. Take care of yourself, girl!
I must be out of the loop. I don't remember any talk about a boyfriend. Want to elaborate?
Hey Kenz!
I figured you were busy haven't seen ya in FOREVA!
Remember to eat, maybe pack a snack of something healthy like fruit and nuts to curb your french fry addiction. I would never make it!!! I Would be eating them 24 hrs. a day if I could, so I wish you willpower! And Good Eats! HA! From my fav cooking show! Take care kiddo! :-)
Carry a baggie of raisins, nuts, and mini rice cakes with you every day. Make a BIG salad twice a week and put it in a gallon size baggie to keep for freshness. Buy a baked chicken and cut it up to put in your salad. Pack plenty of bananas and other fruit with you daily. Drink non-fat (chocolate) milk and eat lots of non-fat yogurt. Believe me - this works! You will feel soo much better and lose weight too.
Screw this... I'm hiring Emeril.
Do you think he can crack my back too?
