I haven't had an actual "Taylor" Post in quite some time

so here it is....

Today, I was randomly shuffling through my iPod, listening to whatever the almighty object sent out my headphones. When I came across, what I thought was "Heart and Soul," I prepared myself to dance and groove along to the music. But to my surprise the sound exiting the tiny silver buds was not the upbeat guitar riff I so expected, but rather it was spoken words that simply stated, "On the evening of May 24th 2006 it was nearly impossible to see out..." I finally realized that it was Taylor reading his book, Heart Full of Soul, not "Heart and Soul." silly mind tricks. I wasn't aware that I had the audio book on my iPod, although I have listened to it, via iTunes, and thanks to E!!!!!
The best part of this experience was a few moments later after I had fast forwarded a few songs ahead. I had wanted to go back to a previous song, and hit the back button... obviously. But, my replay got stuck at the third part of the book. And wouldn't stop replaying it... over and over and over and over again. I kept hearing the words, "In retrospect... In retrospect... In retrospect..." MY IPOD WAS BROKEN. You ever hear a word repeated so much, it doesn't even sound like a word anymore? Well, lets just say that I no longer believe that retrospect should be allowed in the dictionary.

oK... So this isn't really about Taylor... but it's Taylor related. So yeah... I thought it was funny. NOW LAUGH. I COMMAND YOU.

Have a Nice Day. Come again!!!

shit, now I've got "retrospect" stuck in my head! I've thought about getting the audio book just to have Taylor's voice in my ears, but I don't want to shell out the bucks. Guess I'll just hold out for the real thing! woo-hoo!

sigh. OK, I'll go get my purse.

It finally started working after about twenty minutes, but by that time the battery was worn out. It does it a lot, and I usually wait for it to run it's course. I had the problem of losing it this morning actually... I can NOT live with out my iPod. I seriously realize that I'm addicted to it. Radio means nothing to me now...
