BREAKING NEWS!!!

Only in Nebraska would something like this happen...
.......and yes this is a true story.

Today, along interstate I-80 a semi-truck bombarded through an overpass and went gliding off to the ground beneath. Inside the semi were a number of cows. The cows were not harmed... at first. They broke through the metal sheet of the semi, and became loose through out the interstate. Police, Firefighters, and the Humane Society quickly responded to the call. (Can you imagine getting that call?? "Semi flipped off bridge, cows are loose... go shoot them.")

The cows immediately roamed around the interstate, causing a backup in till late this afternoon. A number of police stood atop the semi, killing off the cows that were still trapped beneath the rubble. Shotguns were the choice of weapon. Out in a distance a few cows still ran free, one was caught before entering the city. And others were later caught within the rural area of midtown Omaha.

The driver of the truck is in intesive care at a local hospital. No further word has been mentioned of his condition.

I wish I could say, "No animals were harmed in the making of this story." But that is not the case here.

I was a witness to the treachery of the police standing on top of the semi aiming at the helpless pounds of beef. And also the blood that lead down the street for at least ten feet. And the random cow, that mother thought was a Liger, lying dead in the field.

Rest in peace cows, I raise my Milk to you.
