Meeting Taylor...

...And getting embarassed by my dad.

My dad, my sister and I stopped at the casino on the way home from the track last night, and we got there perfect timing. Within minutes of pulling up, he came out. I first saw this really skinny guy standing there with a black hat, and black shirt, and really funky pants. They were PJ pants and were red and black striped, and I swear they had sparkles. I told the girl next to me, "Hey, check out that dude's pants. I want me a pair of those!" She laughed, and then he turned around, and I read his shirt, it said 'More Cowbell.' And I was like, "Oh my God! It's him!" I walked up to the front, and I was going to shake his hand and talk to him; there wasn't very many people there.

But before I got even remotely close, my dad ran around the group of people and stood behind Taylor, shouting for people to take his picture. He was practically yelling in Tay's ear, I will never forget the look on his face! My dad scared the crap out of him. My dad would stand to the left and Taylor would look to his right, and then vise versa, Taylor kept trying to see who was standing behind him. Finally my dad stands right next to him, he was all dressed in his motocross gear, and Taylor looked him up and down, with a "WTF?" look on his face. He points at my dad, looks at the crowd and mouths, "Who is this guy?" I just sat there, in shock. You wouldn't believe how much I was laughing, that moment was so priceless.I finally get up front though, and I'm standing right next to him, I drag my sister up there with me, who is really nervous, and wouldn't move towards him at all. When Taylor saw her, he payed full attention, and said "Hey! How's it going?" He stuck out his hand, and she gave him a high five, and then she took off running towards my dad. He laughed and watched her run off, it was too cute. My dad, ended up getting all attention on him, by shouting out, "I'm a professional dirt bike rider!" Everyone started laughing, except for me and Taylor.

Everyone was at my dad's attention completely ignoring Taylor. At that moment, I decided to take advantage of having Taylor to myself, and talk to him. But there was another fan who was smart, and seized the moment before me. She kept freaking talking about how she voted him the whole way through American Idol, and how her son was a big fan, and that she loves his attitude and performances so much! I was like, FOR GOODNESS SAKES! WOULD YOU SHUT UP!! He's heard that crap over and over again, like a broken record. At least I wouldn't have dragged on about AI! My dad was still standing to the right of me, shouting. He raised up his arms, saying "I'm the man!" I freaked, and slapped him right in the ribs, Taylor had turned around and was going to get in the bus, but he heard and saw the smack down that I gave my dad, and he goes, "Oooo." I looked down, embarrassed, and was going to say something, but I was too freaked out at that point. He smiles and pats me on the back, as he tried to squeeze past my dad. But my dad stops him, again shouting, telling him to stand there, and take a picture with me and my sister.

Taylor didn't even hesitate to take a picture, I wouldn't have either, my dad is freakin' weird! So after that Taylor says goodnight to everyone, and gets shoved into the bus by his security guy. I heard a thump, and looked inside and saw Taylor climbing the stairs with his hands. I'm assuming that the guy shoving him in there, pushed him too fast, and Taylor fell. How come I'm the one to witness his embarrassing moments? Lol, I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor is in an interview and they ask him, what was the weirdest thing that's happened to him. He would more than likely talk about last night. You know he sat in the bus, laughing about it, and probably thought, "WOW! The men are worse than the women!" Lol. The worst part afterwords, was my dad hitting on all the women walking around. They thought my dad was the coolest thing, because he wasn't afraid to jump behind Taylor, he rides motocross, he had us with him, and they were all drunk. My goodness, I really wish I would've caught that on video!
