So... American Idol Tryouts are coming to Omaha.'
Paula, Randy, Simon, and Ryan. All here. Downtown.
I've always said that I'd tryout, and this year was a for sure thing. I had no idea it was going to be here at all, I was planning on maybe going to St. Louis for it or something. But this makes a bit easier, and I won't have to travel.
The thing is... I can't sing. And I know I can't sing. But, you know me. I'm insane, and I could care less what people think. I'm strange, and like to embarrass myself in public :)
I thought about being serious, and actually try. But last night, while singing in my car, my friend started laughing at me... and I was being serious then, so oh well, lol.
The Try-Out is on August 10, at the Qwest Center Omaha. I am planning on singing Gloria Gaynor, "I Will Survive." I did a bit last night while hanging out with some friends, and basically... they cried they were laughing so hard. I'll have fun with it for the most part, it's a once in a lifetime chance, why not?
If you have any other ideas for a song that I should sing, I'm not absolutely sticking to that one. And I'd like to have input from some of the COOLEST people ever. :)
I WANT TO BE THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!! HAHA - RIGHT.
